How do I change my account password?


Note: Changing your password will effect both your online account and HughesNet mobile app login.

It's easy to change your account password.

  1. Start by signing in to using your current password. If you do not know your current password, click here.

  2. At the top of the page, click on 'My Account' then 'Profile'. A list of email addresses associated with your account will display. When you locate the email address you wish to modify, click 'Manage'. 

  3. You will be required to enter your current password for authentication.

  4. Complete the required fields and click 'OK' to submit the changes. Your password should be at least 6 characters, and include at least 2 of the following:

  • Uppercase letters

  • Lowercase letters

  • A number (0-9)

  • Your password cannot contain spaces, tabs, or the following special characters *#()\

Your changes will be applied immediately after clicking 'OK' and you will be able to log in to your account with your new password.
